Grace began her classical violin training at the age of 4. When she was 8 years old she began to study Celtic fiddle music at Moravian College. Some of her Celtic Fiddle influences were Natalie MacMaster, Liz Carrol, and Alasdair Fraser.
By the time she was 16 years old, she had already performed at the Celtic Classic, the Great Irish Festival in NJ, and the Shawnee Mountain Celtic Festival. Staying true to her classical roots, she also enjoys performing with Moravian College’s Orchestra and the Lehigh Valley Pops Orchestra.
Grace has won numerous top place awards for fiddling (Celtic Classic, Fire Back Fiddle Competition, Scottish Fire Competition in Washington, D.C., etc. ) She has attended workshops with and is greatly influenced by the musical masterminds Brittany Haas and Darol Anger.
Lessons are tailored to the student’s needs and goals. Grace welcomes students of all ages and playing levels. Lessons will stress the importance of proper technique, music theory, sight reading and ear-training. Throughout the year, students will have the opportunity to perform at recitals and local community events.
