Jenna Lee Moore, mezzo-soprano, holds a B.M. in music education from Westminster Choir College and a M.A.T. from Rider University. Jenna has taught voice, piano, and music directed throughout the Lehigh Valley at institutions including The Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Performing Arts and The Pennsylvania Youth Theater, and has now brought her talents to Saucon Valley Music.
Jenna has a regular singing career in opera and musical theatre. Jenna has participated in the Westminster Opera Theater and performs regularly in Philadelphia and the surrounding areas with companies including the Atlantic Coast Opera Festival and Amici Opera Company. Roles performed include Marcellina in Le nozze di Figaro, Flora in La traviata, Nancy in Martha, Berta in The Barber of Seville, Nicklausse in Tales of Hoffmann, and Zaida in Don Sebastiano.
Choral experiences include Mozart’s Mass in G with the New York Philharmonic and Brahms’ Ein deutsches Requiem with both the New Jersey Symphony and the Dresden Philharmonic.
Music directing experiences include Little Women, Thirteen, Funny Girl, and various revues and camps.
At Westminster, Jenna had the opportunity to study voice with both Norma Newton and Sharon Sweet and currently studies with Bronwyn Fix-Keller. She has sung in choirs conducted by James Jordan, Joe Miller, Andrew Megill, and Sun Min Lee. In addition to singing, Ms. Moore plays the piano, trombone, and tuba.
