Kendra Kramer, currently a resident of Bethlehem PA, has always been fascinated by music. Ms. Kramer asked for her first karaoke machine as a Christmas gift when she was about 6 years old. While in school, Ms. Kramer had the unique opportunity to spread her musical wings wide, participating in multiple choruses, musicals, jazz bands, and marching band. She began studying piano privately with Ms. Jennifer Bara, at the age of 7.
Ms. Kramer went on from her beginnings in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, to study Music Education at Moravian College in Bethlehem, PA. She graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Music in Music Education in 2017. Ms. Kramer studied piano with Dr. Barbara Thompson, Dr. Debra Torok, & Mr. Dan DeChellis. She studied Voice with Suzanne Kompass, June Thomas, and Trisha Budlong. Alongside her studies, she participated in the Moravian College Community Orchestra, Choir, Women’s Chorus, Marching Band, Opera Ensemble, Song & Stagecraft Ensemble, and Vocalist, a select A Capella ensemble. Ms. Kramer earned many awards and recognitions during her studies, which include the Mid-Atlantic College and University Housing Officers Academic Excellence Award. She had the unique experience in January 2017 to participate in a 1 week full immersion program in Ghana to study Ghanaian Drumming and Dance.
Ms. Kramer has taught elementary band, elementary general music, and currently teaches Middle School General and Choral music at Easton Area Middle School. She proudly directs the Chorale and teaches 8th Grade piano lab classes.
Despite her busy teaching schedule, Ms. Kramer continues to perform as a Soprano in the Moravian Unitas Chorale and at College Hill Moravian Church.
